Governance
Leading on sustainability means turning challenges into concrete opportunities. With this in mind, FiberCop has chosen to adopt an integrated approach, built on a coherent and well-structured framework. Through the support of management committees and dedicated oversight functions for risk management and responsible business initiatives, the Company aims to generate a lasting, positive impact for its stakeholders.
Through this model, FiberCop embeds sustainability objectives into its day-to-day operations, overseeing their implementation.
The Management Committee, an advisory body supporting FiberCop’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, plays a central role in monitoring progress against ESG targets and in fostering a culture of sustainability through training initiatives directed at the Company’s leadership. The Management Committee also actively participates in stakeholder engagement processes and double materiality analyses, helping to ensure that material impacts, risks and opportunities are consistently integrated into the Company’s strategy.
Ethics and Business Conduct governance takes the form of a comprehensive system of policies, models and procedures that guide FiberCop’s decisions and activities. These include, among others, the Code of Ethics, dedicated policies on human rights, human resources and equal opportunities, as well as environmental, anticorruption and quality policies. The framework also covers energy management, supplier conduct, health and safety in the workplace, and the associated principal certifications.
