FiberCop earns double win at Best In Media Communication awards

News Fibercop - FiberCop earns double win at Best In Media Communication awards

Less than two years after its launch, FiberCop has secured a double win at the Best in Media Communication 2026 awards. Specifically, the company received its first Best in Media Communication (BIC) certification from Eikon Strategic Consulting Italia and Fortune Italia. The citation praises Fibercop for its “excellent reputational positioning, positive feedback from journalists, and ability to communicate highly effectively”.  The Best in Media Communication certification is the first in Italy to scientifically measure the impact of companies’ media communications. During the ceremony at the Italian parliament, FiberCop also won the Special Prize for “Local and Community-Based Communication” for its coverage of the fibre-optic roll-out plan throughout 2025.

Certification

In their rationale for the certification, which analysed FiberCop’s communication strategy for the whole of 2025, Eikon Strategic Consulting Italia said that FiberCop “stands out in the Italian industrial landscape for a narrative characterised by connectivity, value for citizens, growth, innovation and expertise. Through its rapid growth in the telecommunications market and the development of a widespread, secure and sustainable network, the company is contributing to the digitalisation of the Italian economy by combining technological innovation, financial stability, expertise and sustainability, within a forward-looking business model. FiberCop contributes to the country’s reputation by acting as a catalyst for digital development in three areas: society and work through widespread connectivity and value for citizens; strategies and results through stability, growth and legitimacy; and the future through innovation, expertise and opportunities.”

Special Prize

The company also won one of the five special awards for communication projects and campaigns. According to the jury, “through clear, accessible storytelling rooted in local content, FiberCop has highlighted the benefits of connectivity in terms of economic development, access to digital services, innovation for businesses and public administrations, inclusion and citizens’ quality of life. The jury particularly appreciated the ability to translate technological complexity into a narrative that resonates with people, while at the same time highlighting the focus on the sustainability of the projects, dialogue with local institutions and the promotion of regions’ unique characteristics.” The citation concludes: “This approach has helped to raise awareness of the value of digital infrastructure as a driver of growth, competitiveness and social cohesion, making communication an integral part of the process of innovation and community development.”

 The value of ESG

FiberCop has also received the following recognitions: the Top Communication Value “Strategic Network for Local Areas” award for its investments in upgrading the fibre network to provide the country with ultra-fast connections that “confirm the company’s central role in the digital transformation of local areas”; and the Top Communication ESG Goal 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities – for “the deployment of an ultra-fast infrastructure to accelerate the country’s digitalisation process, facilitate citizens’ access to innovative services and reduce CO₂ emissions.”
