Whistleblowing

FiberCop promotes an open, ethical, transparent, and responsible corporate culture, inspired by the values that guide us: #ActRESPONSIBLY, #BeCOURAGEOUS, #WorkASATEAM, #PromoteEXCELLENCE, #TakeCARE.

The active and responsible participation of everyone enables the company to identify potential irregularities and promptly adopt necessary corrective measures, thus preventing possible economic or reputational damage.

For this reason, FiberCop provides internal channels to report any incorrect behavior.

Who can report?

Anyone can submit a report, even anonymously: employees, shareholders, customers, partners and suppliers.

What to report?

You can report any violation of laws and regulations, of Code of Ethics and Conduct, of Organizational Model 231, as well as of the system of rules and procedures in place within the company, including episodes of equal opportunity violations such as discrimination or abuse. Reports may concern both FiberCop personnel and third parties (suppliers and external collaborators).

It is essential for reports to be adequately detailed, therefore should include useful elements for verifying the validity of the report itself (e.g., details that allow identification of the individuals involved, the context, location, and timeframe of the reported facts) and supporting documentation.

These channels are not available for commercial complaints or danger to assets, disputes, or requests related to personal interests, for which other dedicated channels are available. Reports that fall outside the scope will be deemed irrelevant and immediately closed.

How to report?

You can submit a report through:

  • the Whistleblowing Portal, which ensures the confidentiality of the whistleblower’s identity. Upon submission, the Portal provides a unique Identification Code that allows you to check the processing status and send and receive communications regarding the report anonymously.

  • the voicemail box at the Toll-Free Number 800.86.11.86.

  • through a direct meeting with the Compliance personnel, to be arranged on the above mentioned portal.

Anyone receiving a report, in any form (written or oral), must forward it promptly, and in any case within 7 days of receipt, to FiberCop’s Compliance Department using the aforementioned channels.

Confidentiality Guarantee and Protections

Absolute confidentiality is guaranteed regarding the identity of the whistleblower, the persons involved or otherwise mentioned in the report, and no tolerance is allowed for any form of personal or professional retaliation as a consequence of the report made.

Anyone who believes they have suffered retaliation as a result of the report can communicate this to the National Anti-Corruption Authority (ANAC) through the channels specifically provided by the latter.

If the whistleblower has already made an internal report that has not been followed up, or has reasonable grounds to believe that if he submits an internal report he would not be effectively followed up or that the report itself could pose a risk of retaliation, or has reasonable grounds to believe that the violation may represent an imminent or obvious danger to the public interest, he can submit external report to ANAC through the aforementioned channels.

FiberCop ensures the proper management of reporting channels and promotes information and training initiatives on whistleblowing and related company procedures.
