FiberCop, the company managing Italy’s most extensive and far-reaching digital infrastructure, is launching its first Graduate Programme, an initiative aimed at recent Master’s graduates with the goal of training the network professionals of the future.
The programme offers a 12-month contract with the possibility of permanent employment. It is designed to give young talent an immersive, multidisciplinary and highly professional experience, enhancing their skills and actively involving them in Italy’s digital and infrastructure transformation, while supporting their personal and professional growth.
“The Graduate Programme is a tangible investment in people and their potential”, said Maria Lamelas Godinez, Chief Human Resources Officer. “It places young graduates at the heart of a constantly evolving environment, where dialogue and experimentation are part of everyday work. Participants will work on real projects alongside experienced professionals and develop cross-functional skills through a comprehensive training experience combining classroom activities, mentoring and job rotation across strategic projects”.
The programme is structured across three main areas and is designed to provide a forward-looking, well-rounded experience. The Technology & Innovation area offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of the company’s infrastructure, focusing on cutting-edge technologies such as Network Cloudification, Automation and Digital Twin. The Strategy area involves strategic planning, organisational transformation and M&A operations, working closely with the company’s core functions.
Finally, Business & Data Intelligence provides a practical, cross-functional experience in the world of data, with rotations in marketing, data science and IT teams. Activities range from building intuitive dashboards to predictive analytics and the development of data-driven decision-making models. It is a tangible opportunity to play an active role in the company’s digital transformation and acquire key skills in an environment increasingly driven by data intelligence.
Recruited graduates will take part in over 450 hours of training, including an initial bootcamp, visits to innovation centres and meetings with top management. The programme also includes access to advanced learning platforms such as LinkedIn Learning and the Politecnico di Milano’s Observatories. Each graduate will be paired with a dedicated mentor.
To promote the initiative, FiberCop will meet students at leading Italian universities through events, workshops and networking opportunities, offering the chance to learn more about the programme, meet company managers and apply directly on the day.
Further information about the programme and application procedures is available on graduateprogramme.fibercop.com and on FiberCop’s LinkedIn profile.
